Hello! My name is Callie and I am a 27-year-old ex-Bio Engineering PhD student turned textile professional. I am about to start my second year in the Textile Conservation programme at the University of Glasgow, which is amazing.
My main interests are 15th and 16th C Spanish clothing, 14th C French clothing, 16th C counted thread embroidery, and the early history of lace, but I dabble in pretty much everything textile-related.
